Son Leaving

I will be taking my middle son to the airport in the morning to go visit my parents in Oregon. I will miss him greately even though he causes me so much grief. He will return on Wednesday the day before his 11th birthday. I know he will have a good time and it will be good for him to have some time alone with his grandparents. Even though they live here parttime, he never spends as much time with them as he would like. It will be good for my daughter to have a break from him, I know having a brother with a disability is hard.

I have just about finished my pieces for the Creative Underground swap, I will post them here when they are done, in the next couple of days. doing 31 of something is a lot to do. I want to spend the rest of my summer two weeks, learning my new embroidery machine. I really want to do some jeans and a skirt before school starts and I have to go back to work. I cannot believe how early school starts here.

The above picture is of a quilt I made for my mother, I am sending it with my son to give to her.
